Instructies
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C
  2. Put al the dry ingredients together into a bowl and mix it.
  3. Put in the melted butter and the buttermilk and mix again.
  4. Place the dough into the refegerator to cool down a bit.
  5. Filling:
  6. Take a heat resistant pan you can use also for the oven.
  7. Put the sugar together with the butter into the pan and let it melt.
  8. PLEASE be careful becouse sugar is really hot!!
  9. When the butter is melted and the sugar turns brown you can put in the mango. You can make any shape you like.
  10. Take your dough out of the refegerator and rol out till the size of your pan.
  11. Place your dough over the mixture and put in into the oven for 30 min. Make 2 or 3 small slices into the dough for air to come out while baking.
  12. When done place a plate onto of the cake and turn it around so the top will become the bottom.
  13. The sugar is still hot so be careful.
Notities

Making this pie earlier the day?

  • leave the pie in the pan. When you are going the serve it, heat the bottom of the pan so the sugar becomes soft again. This way the sugar will get loose when you turn it over to a plate.
